There is unlikely to be much auroral activity in the next week or two as the most active sunspots have rotated out of view from Earth. The sunspot that caused the recent geomagnetic storms had a last stand on Friday with an X1.7 solar flare, much larger than the one that caused this but it was not earth directed with only a glancing blow yesterday afternoon (Kp 3)
